Neighbourhood Support

Neighbourhood Support aims to make our homes, streets, neighbourhoods and communities more caring and safer places in which to live

At the heart of Neighbourhood Support is the individual Street Group.  If your street does not have an established Neighbourhood Support group and you would like to join, contact Matua Area Coordinator Michael Esdaile:

Michael will discuss with you how to organise a meeting of residents and become a Street Coordinator for your Street Group.

Neighbourhood Support is about being neighbourly and supporting your community.  Knowing your neighbour’s name and how to contact them if something looks out of place can make a difference to your life, and theirs.

See something, say something

Talk to your neighbours if you see something suspicious.  Also talk with the Police: Often a combination of information will create a larger picture.

For crime, tagging, speeding or dangerous driving, call 111.
